Baddeck, NS

Baddeck was the summer home of inventor Alexander Graham Bell, as well as the site of the first airplane flight in the British Empire (1909). The flight of the Silver Dart and many of Bell's inventions are brought to life in the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. Baddeck has been described as the beginning – and the end – of Cape Breton Island's world-famous Cabot Trail. Nestled along the shore of the Bras d'Or Lake in Cape Breton.
